Best time to visit and transportation

Koh Rong Saloem is about 20km from Sihanoukville. The ideal time to travel Koh Rong Saloem is from April to August and two weeks before starting your journey, you should book in advance hotel and transportation.

From Sihanoukville, you can get to Koh Rong Saloem Isalnd by party boat or speed boat. Party boat is suitable for those who want to travel Koh Rong Saloem 2 days or more. The boat usually departs from 9:30am and returns at 3:30pm and takes about 2.5 hours to reach the island. Round-trip fare is $ 25. This boat also offers many attractive services such as jumping from the highest cabin, snorkeling, dining, etc.

Speed boat: Suitable for those who only have one day in Koh Rong Saloem. It takes about 40 minutes to reach the island. You can buy tickets at the Serendipity wharf, Sihanoukville. The boat departs at and returns at 11am in the next morning. Ticket price is $15/person/way. There is no activity on the boat.
