Day 01, 02: Kampot – Bokor mountain

After arriving Cambodia, you should buy a local Sim card: SIM metfone: 2$. Pre-paid mobile cards ranges from $1-$5; depending your needs, you can buy the suitable cards. Then, you have breakfast and pick up the car to Kampot (about $7,5 for two people).

9h30 am: The car will take you to Kampot station. You should pick up a motorbike taxi to Riverside Road and find hotels nearby. After finding the hotel, you can rent a motorbike at the hotel with the price about $5/day.

10h am: Explore Bokor Plateau. You can ask the hotel receptionist to know how to get there or take a map.

Coming here, you have to buy entrance ticket (1,000 riel per person). Driving about 30km, you will meet the first stop where you can buy water or eat barbecue and do not forget to bargain. Although the road from the stop to the attractions is quite rough and inconvenient, the distance between them is very close so you still can visit all the destinations. Some attractions you should miss: PoPokrvil waterfall, Kampot Resort, Chinese Temple and stone church.

3h pm: Come back to the hotel and take a rest

5h pm: Walk around the river and visit night market.

Day 03: Koh Rong – Koh Samloem

6h am: Get up early to enjoy fresh air

7h am: Go to Samaki market. Having breakfast and walking around the market. Specialties in here is Kampot durian, you can buy it with the price about 10,000 riel/kg.

10h30 am: Return to hotel to check out. After that, you will pick up a tuk tuk to go Kampot station ($1) and take a car to Sihanoukville.

11h am: Start to go Serendipity harbor.

2h-2h30 pm: Buy the boat ticket to Koh Samloem island ($20/two-way ticket), stop at Saracen Bay. You also buy the ticket to Phnom Penh for tomorrow.

3h pm: Go to the paradise island – Koh Samloem.

3h45 pm: Go to Orchid Hotel to register time to turn back tomorrow at 9h30 am.

4h pm: Walking along the beach to ask and choose the suitable resort (remember to bargain). After check-in, you can go swimming or go to lighthouse to take photos. Note: On the island, electricity is only available from 6-10pm and have no wifi. Remember bring mosquito repellant.

Day 04: Koh Samloem – Phnom Penh

5-6h am: Wake up early to see sunrise, relax and go swimming.

8h am: Have breakfast at the resort and then check out.

9h30 am: Return to Sihanoukville

11h30-12h: Arrive mainland, walk to ticket station to check the ticket to go Phnom Penh.

12-1h pm: Start to go Phnom Penh

6h pm: Arrive Phnom Penh. The suggested hotel for you is Heng Long hotel, located right at the corner of Orussey market (price ranging from $15-$20).

7h pm: Hire a tuk tuk to go around the city (the best price is $12).

Day 05: Phnom Penh – Departure

7h am: Have breakfast at Orussey market.

8h am: Visiting Royal Palace (entrance ticket: 25,000 riel/person).

9h: Wat Pnom Pagoda

9h30: Go to Central Market, everything can be found in here, from foods to clothes, shoes, t-shirts,…

11h30: Have lunch and return departure.
